Salvaged Coastal Live Oak coffee table. This one-of-a-kind table was made from a salvaged oak tree in Ojai, CA. Large cracks are filled with clear epoxy and stabilized with multiple black walnut bowties across the gaps. It is finished in a linseed oil/varnish mixture followed by a sprayed-on satin polyurethane for maximum protection. The base is a trio of raw steel hairpin legs coated with wax to prevent rusting. This is a hefty and sturdy table with lots of character. The wood ranges from dark deep brown to a creamy yellow/white. This could also make a great side table or corner table.
